Studio1098 Sponsor Spotlight

Gifts that Give Back

If you have been to a CANFAR event in the past two years, you may have had a chance to meet Tamara Kronis of Studio1098. You may have gone home with one of her beautiful pieces of jewelry that has been featured in many of our silent auctions.

Studio1098 has been providing CANFAR in-kind sponsorship for many of our events for the last number of years, helping us to raise funds in support of HIV and AIDS research. This fall, the support of CANFAR expanded even further as Tamara created the Wishbones for CANFAR collection.

The cornerstone of the collection, a sterling wishbone complete with CANFAR red ruby, was provided as a gift to Can You Do Lunch? Toronto co-chairs Valerie Pringle and Jennifer Tory, as well as keynote speakers Kari and Ashley Murphy.

The wishbone is symbolic of a wish we all share – an AIDS free world for the next generation.

The collection is available to the general public with many customizations including stones and medals. Available as a pendant as well as cufflinks, they are the perfect gift for the holiday.  They are all made custom, at Studio1098 in Toronto. Tamara, owner of Stuio1098 and long-time friend of CANFAR will be making a donation back to CANFAR for every piece sold.

The Wishbones for CANFAR collection has received nods in a number of holiday gift guides as a “can’t miss” gift that gives back this holiday season.
