On the online financial transaction pages listed above, we collect the following personally identifiable information: name, address, e-mail address, phone number, and credit card information. The personally identifiable information you provide is used to acknowledge receipt of your donation for tax purposes and to include you on CANFAR’s mailing list. You may unsubscribe from this list at any time.
When you send a donation in honour or in memory of someone and request that an acknowledgement be sent to another individual/family, we will use the name and address of that individual/family for acknowledgement purposes only.
Correcting Your Information
You may correct or amend the personal information maintained in CANFAR’s mailing list by contacting our office at 1-800-563-CURE (2873) or cure@CANFAR.com. To protect your privacy and security, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before making corrections. You will be asked cross-referenced questions (i.e. full name, address, phone number, and, if applicable, credit card expiration date) in order to verify their identity and protect the privacy of CANFAR’s donors.
