  • New date selected for ‘Can You Do Lunch?’

    • April 28, 2020

Can you do lunch? That really is the question, isn’t it? Our hope is that yes, we can ‘do lunch’ very soon. Today, our Chairs and Organizing Committee would have welcomed you at our 8th annual luncheon in support of ending Canada’s HIV epidemic. There is some light at the end of the tunnel — with recent news that the province is beginning to consider how it will reopen the economy, we are optimistic that we will be able to host Can You Do Lunch? on September 9 at the Four Seasons Hotel, Toronto.

Continuing to support CANFAR and our events is critical because we cannot fall further behind in the fight to end Canada’s HIV epidemic. Not only are HIV rates anticipated to rise as a result of the pandemic, but its impact on the financial future of charities like CANFAR is unknown. Please consider donating to help sustain our research grants, national awareness platforms and efforts to enhance access to HIV prevention, testing and treatment.

We miss you and look forward to seeing our nearest and dearest CANFAR family soon!
