Some people know Mrs. Sylvia Mantella for her smile in the society pages and her striking fashion choices. At the Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research (CANFAR), we know Mrs. Mantella first and foremost for her generosity.
This year marked the second year Mrs. Mantella has co-chaired CANFAR’s signature fundraising gala—Bloor Street Entertains. To help us celebrate the 20th anniversary of this event, Mrs. Mantella curated BSE Exquisite, a luxury online boutique and auction experience as extraordinary as Mrs. Mantella herself. BSE Exquisite included designer handbags from Mrs. Mantella’s own personal collection, as well as spectacular getaways to some of her favourite locations. In all, Mrs. Mantella helped raise more than $100,000 for BSE Exquisite. CANFAR graciously thanks Sylvia Mantella and the Mantella Corporation for their dedication to Bloor Street Entertains.
