Through hosting events, funding research, and developing national programs, CANFAR has been involved in pivotal social and scientific breakthroughs since the Foundation’s inception.
None of this would have been possible without the continuous and extensive help of CANFAR’s volunteers like Gord Capern, nor would we be able to achieve the scale of what we do without these devoted supporters.
In this article, we would like to extend our gratitude to Gord, a senior partner at Paliare Roland Rosenberg Rothstein LLP. He is an expert in corporate and commercial litigation practice, has been a dedicated supporter of CANFAR for over 13 years. Gord first joined the CANFAR family in 2003 when he began co-chairing AIDSbeat with Patricia Olasker, founder of the event. In addition to being an AIDSbeat co-chair for the past several years, Gord has served on the CANFAR Board of Directors since 2008.
Not only does Gord donate his time and energy, he has consistently been one of CANFAR most generous monthly donors. Gord is an energetic, thoughtful and dedicated member of the CANFAR family, and whether it’s in the board room, on the stage or bringing in new volunteers – his impact is boundless.
