  • CANFAR welcomes new Director of Communications Ryan Joyce

    • January 15, 2020

CANFAR is pleased to welcome Ryan Joyce to the CANFAR team as its new Director of Communications. In this role, Ryan will spearhead strategies to amplify CANFAR’s brand positioning, media and public relations, social media and community stakeholder and event communications.

Ryan has extensive experience in Ontario’s health care system and most recently, he led all internal and external communications for Mount Sinai Hospital’s $600 million redevelopment project. He is a strong relationship manager with expertise in external communication, public affairs, government relations and content creation.

Prior to that, Ryan worked at the Toronto Central Local Health Integration Network where he was responsible for government and media relations, issues management and digital communications. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Waterloo and a post-graduate certificate in Public Relations from Ryerson University.

CANFAR is entering an exciting new chapter in the fight to end HIV in Canada, and I couldn’t be more excited to be working with the team in writing that chapter.”

    Ryan Joyce
