  • All of us at CANFAR would like to extend a special thank you to the team at Raymond James, for both volunteering their time at this year’s “AIDSbeat Goes to the Movies” event on Friday, May 4, 2018 and for their extremely generous donation of $2,500.

This is the second year in a row that the Raymond James team have rolled up their sleeves to help us run our annual battle of the bands charity event. Our 2018 AIDSbeat was a great success thanks to their committed support.

CANFAR is built on the strength of its volunteers and their passion for the cause is the fuel that keeps us running. We are truly grateful to each of them for the passion they all showcased in helping us to raise money for Canadian HIV and AIDS research.

The month of May is “Raymond James Cares Month” and throughout the month members of the Raymond James team from across the country are encouraged to get involved in volunteer opportunities in their communities across Canada.

Over our 30-year history, CANFAR has been proud of the national role we have played funding breakthroughs in HIV prevention, treatment, care, and the search for a cure.  Our donors and volunteers have been critical in helping us to fund research projects that have changed the lives of those who are living with HIV.

Thank you, Raymond James, for your support and for sharing our vision to end HIV in Canada.
