CANFAR Rocks and rolls into the El Mocambo
The best of Bay Street descended on the El Mocambo for an epic showcase of glam rock realness at CANFAR Rocks. This year, three law firm bands, alongside CANFAR National Ambassador Jade Elektra, Canadian soul/jazz/R&B icon Billy Newton-Davis, and dance music legend Simone Denny, the voice of LOVE INC., brought the house down with electrifying performances.
Over 600 guests packed the venue to rock out to an eclectic mix of covers, and helped us raise $180,000 for our mission to end the HIV epidemic in Canada.
Blind Trust, A Cute Risk, and this year’s Lexpert Cup winners, Sound Prediction took us through a nostalgic set-list of Glam Rock anthems that had everyone on their feet.
Throughout the evening, guests savoured delectable bites by INK Entertainment, paired with beverages from Santa Margherita Wines, Ginslinger Gin, Tag No. 5 Vodka, Barnburner Whisky and Stella Artois.
