CANFAR's office is located on the traditional territories of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples. As a national foundation that works in supporting people living with and affected by HIV, it is important for us to acknowledge Canada's history with Indigenous peoples on this land, as the HIV epidemic in Canada disproportionately affects Indigenous populations.
