“I have been living with HIV for 6 years now and have been using my diagnosis as a way to reclaim my power and help educate others on what HIV looks like in the NOW. Stigma is still a very real issue so I hope by sharing my journey and story I can help dismantle it!” “

BIOGRAPHY
Myles Sexton, TV style expert, make-up artist, stylist, model, sexual health/mental health/harm reduction educator, and social media influencer. No matter the title they may be wearing on any given day, Myles is an advocate first. Whether it be on their regular segment on CityLine, & Your Morning, or in a TikTok video or on a fashion runway, Myles is a living, breathing symbol of what living with HIV looks like today. They have been featured in Fashion Magazine, Elle, Vogue Italia and the New York Times just to name a few. They have spoken on behalf of Canfar as a National Ambassador in countless campaigns and they played an instrumental role in the creation of Sexfluent, CANFAR’s youth organization dedicated to educating youth on all things sexual health, mental health, gender identity and harm reduction.
Myles believes that ending HIV in Canada is more than possible, but it is going to take all of us- moving together. Increasing access to testing and care, breaking down the barriers for people to access services, information and medication, especially in remote and rural areas.
