There are an estimated 75,500 Canadians currently living with HIV.
Innovative Research Is The Solution
Leadership from the CANFAR Scientific Advisory Committee, conducts a peer review process that identifies the best possible research projects across Canada. Through this process, CANFAR awards both seed grants and sustainable grants, which then helps bring these projects to fruition.
BMO’s Commitment To The Solution
BMO and the Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research (CANFAR) are jointly launching the BMO Innovation Challenge − in support of HIV and AIDS research. The goal set for this challenge is to raise $1 million. BMO has generously pledged $100,000, over the next five years.
BMO and CANFAR want to increase the progress of research projects being conducted by Canadian HIV and AIDS researchers.
We are asking your company to commit to donating $30,000 over five years towards this initiative and be publicly recognized as a leader in HIV research funding. With your commitment, and BMO’s capstone donation, we will achieve our goal of raising $1 million for innovative HIV and AIDS research.
