  • CANFAR is deeply saddened by the passing of Lucas Murnaghan

    • March 29, 2021

Our CANFAR family is deeply saddened by the passing of Lucas Murnaghan, a cherished member of our CANFAR community.

Lucas had been involved with CANFAR for over a decade and he helped raise funds through artwork donations at our annual fundraisers, among other gestures. Murnaghan’s donations of his coveted underwater photography helped raise money to eradicate HIV in Canada, and for that we will forever be grateful.

Lucas was a respected surgeon, artist, philanthropist and friend. Thank you Lucas for your unwavering commitment to making this world a more beautiful place through your love of art, science and health.

    Rest in power, Lucas Murnaghan
