The One Thousand Donor Project

The One Thousand Donor Project is your opportunity to make an impact – right now.

This year, we received 42 research grant applications from doctors and scientists all over the country. We are so excited and hopeful for the possibilities knowing that one of those projects could be the key to unlocking a new approach to treatment, one of them could help us all better understand the impact of HIV on the psyche,  one could signify the end – a cure.

On June 18th, the final selection will be made. CANFAR’s Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) will meet as they do every year and at the end of this rigorous review process, a list of the top projects will be presented to our Board for funding.

 The premise is simple:

1,000 GENEROUS SUPPORTERS EACH DONATE $25 TO ALLOW US TO FUND
ONE ADDITIONAL RESEARCH PROJECT THIS YEAR.

Research has opened so many doors and led to significant medical breakthroughs. And this is because of people like you who refuse to give up. But there is still work to be done. We firmly believe in the brainpower of this country and we desperately want to fund as many projects as possible. We are within reach but we need your help.
